PERSONAL

Hi. Let me tell you about myself. I love
the Lord. I am a Native New Yorker. I
attended several elementary schools
and I was a graduate of the last class of
Central Commercial High School in
1974. I initally attended Lehman
College in Bronx , NY but later tranferred
to American International College In
Springfield, Massachusetts. It was
there that I received my BSN in 1987.
After graduation I was commissioned
into the USAF. In 1999, I obtained my
MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner
from Bowie State University. I love my
profession.

My hobbies and interests include singing,dancing, creative writing,
travelling to foreign coutries; especially Africa. I also enjoy writing
inspirational gospel music and ministering in song whenever and
wherever the Lord leads me. My major focus in life is
concentrating on being in the will of God.

I am the wife of Mr. Kandeh Turay of
Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am the
mother of five children; David , Sa"Iydah,
, Mujahid Harun and Nusaiba I am
also the Grandmother of six wonderful
grandchildren; Shiccia Elijah Malachi
Davina , Safiya and David IV. I am
currently employed with the Virgin
Islands Department of Health as a
Nurse Practitioner. I provide primary care
to People living with HIV as well as HIV,
STD and TB counseling, testing,referral
and education.

My best friends are my prayer
partners. They help me to
stay focused on God's will for
mylive,providecompanionship
and also provide mental and
spiritual support in good
times as well as bad. They
are Janet, Janice, Marion,
Rachel, Christine and
Stephanie. My life long
friends are Beverly Pabon
and Darlene Fisher of New
York City. I love them all very
dearly and I thank them for
their faithfulness in or
friendship.
